CAÑO NEGRO
on the Río Frío by boat

 On this tour, we take a boat down the Río Frío outside the preserve, and we study the flora and fauna from there.

Both tours are offered on the following schedule choices: 

Mornings:  Pick up at your hotel in La Fortuna at 6 AM, eat breakfast en route to Los Chiles, and start the boat tour by 8 AM.  3 hours, round trip.  Return by 2 PM.

Afternoons:    Leave La Fortuna at noon from your hotel and drive to Los Chiles.  Sandwiches and drinks provided.  3 hours, round trip.  Return by 6 PM in time for a rest and the option of another tour in the evening.
