" If love goes through the stomach, so can tolerance!"
The intention of this project is to enlighten all those who limit themselves to the borders of their country and show them in this way they are only suppressing their own culture, not allowing it to "breathe" and "communicate" with others.
As the topic of our research, we have closer cuisine-something so ordinary and familiar, and yet so essential for our existence. Even Montesque once said:"Eating is one of the few purposes of our lives."

The act of eating is not only a mechanical process of putting food into your mouth, but it is also a kind of a ritual which enables us to connect with the substance that exists around us and make it a part of our being.
A long time ago the heart had a prominent position in the lives of many peoples. It didn't represent only the sacrificial site where numerous different customs and rituals were preformed, but it was also a place for cooking meals.
When archaeologists search for the remains of the lost (extinct) cultures, they often dig through those layers of earth where they have found traces of fire, which are a proof that once there were people living there, keeping warm by the fire and cooking food.
Even today, kitchen is one of the central rooms in our home. It is the area where we prepare food and drinks for ourselves, our friends and sometimes even our enemies (friends-to-be). It is also the area where we express thankfulness to the force which gives us the gifts we feed upon.
"A man his what he eats", said Ludwig Fenerbach, while spreading the pioneer beliefs of Jacob Moleschott about the provisions for the people, saying that food a person eats is the basis of his upbringing and civilization. What people used to eat and the way they are it indicated their position in the hierarchy of social structure.
Today, it is a well-known fact that in the Middle Ages, Europeans had a strong need for spices, which was the only way of neutralizing the sharp taste of the gauze, since that time food couldn't be cooled or canned. Only the kings had the privilege of having their food and drinks cooled down with the snow brought from the nearly mountain pears.
Now, lets take a closer look at the present and future condition of our nutrition. By the development of technology we have gained new methods of laud cultivation, different ways of production and improved methods of packing that reach us by the ever faster means of transport. Most of the fresh products that are sold nowadays are already prepared for cooking-washed, chopped and peeled; so all we have to do is choose between a package for one, two or five people.
Now we are inviting you to join us in our little investigation about different kind of cuisine in Europe.
