I recently was treated to the entire Cell Saga courtesy of Cartoon Network. I have seen my share of Dragonball Z's epic battles from sagas past, and this one seemed no different than the rest. The Cell Games started with the usual stalling, posturing, and even a little trash talking. The addition of the Hercule (Mr. Satan) character, who, I hate to admit, I related to, was a welcome change from the normal DBZ fare. He and his posse were a source of annoyance reminiscent of Gohan's forest training early in the series, or episode 46, Big Trouble for Bulma. When the fighting started, however, Hercule was quickly put in his place. The Z Fighters took over and Goku was beaten! I will not give away all of the details, but the way they all pulled together for the final showdown with cell was one of DBZ's finest moments. And for one final treat, Future Trunks gets a chance to make the Androids pay in his time. If you like cartoons you don't know what you're missing!
