The Adventures of Jennifer Bear pg.3

MAY AND JUNE 2003 (TROOP 1162)

I spent the month of May with Brownie Troop 1162. Not only did I meet 13 wonderful new friends but I was glad to see lots of my old friends at Encampment. What a fun campout! We learned what it means to "Leave No Trace" and all about different kinds of plans found in the woods. We took a great hike a boy scout leader he sure knew a lot about trees! We made animal habitats and food chains (I was glad to hear I was pretty close to the top). One of the pairs in my troop even made a nice bear habitat. It'll tell you what; by the end of the day I was wishing it was a little bigger! I stayed away from the craft table as much as possible. It looked pretty messy! All the activities were fun and i even got to keep one of the pins with beads on it. We spend the night and left in the morning dirty but happy.

I also attended the girls last regular meeting where we are leftover camp snacks and made a necklace. It wasn't too sad of a meeting through because their next meeting was a Paint Yourself Silly, where they spend some of their left over cookie money.

I enjoyed getting to know these girls and I'm ready to start my summer adventures! Where to Next?

Well, Here I am at advanced registration! I came along to help register Troop 1162 and found out it was time to turn in my registration form. I couldn't decided what program level to join, because they are all so much fun! So I picked them all! Anyway, Mamma Bear signed my form and now I'm off for summer vacation. I wonder what I'll do over the summer?

JUNE, JULY AND AUGUST 2003 (TROOP 1865)

I am spending the summer with Cadette/Senior Troop 1865. I heard I will be in for an adventure with these older girls. I can't wait!
