Vanishing Bride By Magali 1977.
Thats cool, and author with only one name. In this book Marion gets on the
wrong plane which saves her life. Note on the cover in the middle on the
right hand side next to her big head, thats a plane exploding. The plane
she was supposed to be on blows up. When she goes home, her husband is talking
with a woman about how glad he is that she's gone and how he's stolen her
money. She goes to a private investigator firm and they hire her to do some
investigating while they investigate her husband for her. She then goes
to Sicily to hide out and do some investigating. |

The Changeling Bride by Lisa Cach 1999. This
book is pretty fun. Ellie travels back in time after being stalked by weird
green-eyed people. It turns out they are fairies and fulfilling a final
wish for the man interest's grandma. There is a bunch of fairy folklore.
She also has a hilarious dog, which the fairies are afraid of. There's a
part where she wants the fairy to do something and she pretends to sick
her dog on the fairy by saying "wheres the kitty, wheres the kitty."
and the dog gets all worked up. And the guy isn't a complete jerk. Lisa
Cach's books are pretty good, they usually crack me up. |

Silver Lady by Mary Lyons 1991. This book cracks
me up. Francesca needs money from her stepbrother, which is really her money.
So he makes her be the cook on his boat 'silver lady.' He's nasty to her,
flaunts another woman in front of her. She loves him. He feels her up when
he can then makes her cook for him and yells at her for not cleaning the
ice machine. In the end he's like of course I love you, I named my boat
after you. Silver lady, denotes her ash blond hair. oh yeah. |

Man of Ice by Rachel Lindsay 1980. This book
is neat, it takes place in India and talks about all sorts of cool places
to visit, because she visits them. He's the cranky sort, but he rescues
her after she falls asleep at some ruins. She wakes up at night time and
has to hike her way out, she sprains her ankle and alas he comes to get
her. |

The Horizons of Love by Barbara Cartland 1980.
First, I love this picture of her with her dog. It is what I aspire to be
someday, only my dog will be a pug. Ina comes to live with her aunt and
uncle. Her aunt is so shallow. She tells herself how beautiful she is all
the time. For example, "I am young, I am young!" Lucy told herself
every morning." Ina is some weird philosopher, she can tell a lot about
people's personality, she draws them. Like she draws a picture of the guy,
but as a bum with his back towards a mountain. But at some times she is
so childish. |
