Parthanon Cafeteria, Akropolis Tower >> top^

Greater Stranger
Notes : Humanlike mutation, brown colored, stout arms and elongated head. (This is what the girl at the diner transforms into.) Whoopie! Talk about slow. This is where those tables in the caf, come in handy. Keep a table between you and that thing, and fire away! Wow, that was sadly easy.
Hit Points : 350
Attacks : Bite(15) Snap(18)
Weakness : Back Attack, Flame
Outcome : EXP: 300 BP: 200 MP: 30

Rooftop, Akropolis Tower >> top^

No. 9: Night Option
Notes : You come back from exploring the entire walkway of the helicoptor landing area, and this weird maniac shows up. His laugh is cool, but non the less he's trying to kill you. If you got the grenade pistol from the dead SWAT guy in the fountain, then use it (granted you have grenades, too). Hopefully you have the MP5, because the M93R just simply stinks. Energyshot and or antibody will greatly benefit you in this fight here. If and when you run out of grenades, or you just didn't have any to start with, make sure you can paste him with as many hits as you can without him getting too near to you. It's best to also reload your weapon when you're at the other side of a corner. No.9 (or in this case, "???") will often dash at Aya with a flaming machete, or fire a mustard gas grenade at her if she's afar. To avoid the mustard gas, wait for it to cruise near and then take a few steps -forward-.. That should be a guaranteed miss. Also, you can't walk behind No.9, so make sure you don't run out of catwalk! You'll also notice the conveniently placed high voltage cables.. make sure you shoot them right before No.9 crosses their path.. Nice damage. And if and when you get to the end of places to go, by all means, don't let him corner you!! Take advantage of both the cable and the steam pipe to finish him off.
Hit Points : 1600
Attacks : CS Grenade(0, stun/paralysis) Fire(1) Slash(14) Rip(20) Fire Slash(24) Fire Rip(fatality)
Weakness : Armor Piercing Ammunition
Outcome : EXP: 500 BP: 800 MP: 30

Depilitated House, Dryfield >> top^

No. 9: Desert Option
Notes : Wonderful.. it's that guy again. Let's not find out what he did with that woman and why she was screaming so long, shall we? No.9 basically stands center this time, keeping up his guard majority of the fight. The perfect time to nail him is right before he does his major swing of his machete, or when you have a great shot of his back. Keep Aya at the corners of the room, and take notice of what he does right before he attacks so you can time it perfectly. The rifle works well, as well as grenade weapons. Level 3 Pyro is particularly effective when No.9 is completely off his guard. After a bit of banter he'll finally quit.
Hit Points : 1100
Attacks : Stranglehold(10) Slash(15) Rip(25) Stab(40)
Weakness : Right before his attack, & a back attack
Outcome : EXP: 800 BP: 300 MP: 50

Bronco Hotel, Dryfield >> top^

Big Burner
Notes : This guy has also been nicknamed 'cannon-mouth'. It's a huge deformity infused with a flamethrower in its jaw, and has one big arm... it came lumbering down the highway one night when Aya least expected. First off, let's talk about preparation. By preparation, I mean, everything you decide to do before letting Aya take her rest in the motel (if you didn't get a chance to prepare, then follow the strategy at least). With whatever armor you have on her, attach the rifle and make sure it's loaded. Then, equip her main weapon as the grenade pistol and make sure that's loaded too (at least a dozen or more grenades.. never hurts to carry a few extra). The reason for this is if you don't kill Big Burner in about three minutes, then Flint will die and the ending will be screwy, so that's why I suggest the use of grenades.. they pack alot of power. I would also reccomend reviving energy shot, and at least necrosis. Now, save on the phone in room number six and tell Aya to sleep. A movie scene will follow, and directly afterwards you will initiate battle. Alright.. well the strategy is pretty simple to follow. (Note: Do NOT go down screen to where room five is: the monster will grab and pick Aya up and smash her against one of the walls, causing rather large amounts of damage.) You have Aya run upscreen to that corner junction that's between her room and the Loft when battle starts. The camera angle will change so the Loft will be offscreen right and Big Burner to the left of the screen. Do not have have Aya back into the corner; have her move UP like you're trying to get closer to the monster, while staying in that corner area. If you are in the right position, Big Burner will try to slam Aya with his hand, but miss every time. The only thing he can really attack you with is the flame thrower, but if you cast antibody then the damage should be insignificant, and standing in place while he sweeps it might reduce damage. This is where you can cast both energy shot and necrosis. Necrosis acts like a poison, and can shave away good amounts of HP from Big Burner while you're in the middle of loading and unloading grenades. Necrosis' effect does not last long, so you may need to recast it a few times. Just be sure that you do not move around too often. Soon, Big burner will get PO'd and there's a close-up of it's face, mauled away by your efforts. This just means you are almost done with ridding him. Finish up with the same method; and if you run out of grenades, then you can always use the rifle attached onto your armor (yay! preparation is always benificial). If you do not destroy Big Burner soon enough (you should if you used my method), then it will run out of fuel for it's flamethrower and leave.. trampling on poor Flint in the process. The battle will end, and Aya will recieve half of the BP and half of the EXP she would have gotten if she actually killed it. Believe me, it's so much better to just destroy it.. and destroy it you will! :D It makes a big mess when it finally collapses to ooze, but .. damn, good thing you don't have to run into something like -that- again..
Hit Points : 4650
Attacks : Holding Attack(8) Ignition(10) Hammer Throw(15) Manhattan Drop(20) Flame Throw(25) Chop(30)
Weakness : Necrosis
Outcome : EXP: 2000 BP: 1000 MP: 100

Cavern, Mine, Dryfield Area >> top^

Blizzard Chaser & Zombie Version
Notes : The way Aya encounters this monster is nothing but an eerie red light gleaming towards her in the darkness. Creepy. This is the thing you most likely saw in the animation of Aya and Kyle breaking through some gates in that rusted red truck. To lighten the atmosphere, have Aya take aim at any of the four barrels located around the vibrating sieve (that thing in the middle of the cave). Each barrel takes quite a few HP, maybe 40, before they burst into flames. The good thing is, if you get the BC (Blizzard Chaser) infront of them when they explode, you cause heavy damage. The bad thing is, often they take a while to burn up so the BC might get a chance to jump Aya in the process. To avoid being jumped, make sure you listen to its noises. Often right before the monster attempts to make a dive, it will bray, and this should be your warning to have Aya not stay in place. Or, you can cast a nice dosage of Apobiosis and let him become parylized to Aya's merciless power. The monster is pretty strong, but his HP are not as high as you would expect.. When you knock him out, be prepared for another encounter. There's no hair on the Zombie version that ressurects. He is not tougher than the previous version.. If anything, he is easier because his attacks are more simplified and most of what he does is just run around. His attacks are also weaker, and work in a repeated pattern. What has improved is only his HP, which are five times of the previous version. This might take a long while if you don't have a head smacking weapon like the grenade (and I don't expect you to always use it). I used the rifle, and it worked rather well for me, I only had to time my reloading session accurately. After a while, this guy was nothing more than ANMC goo.
Hit Points : 500(2500)
Attacks : Dash(20/12) Flying Body Press(25/18) Neck Throw(30/20)
Weakness : Apobiosis
Outcome : EXP: 500(500) BP: 300(300) MP: 10(30)

Garbage Incinerator, B3, Shelter >> top^

Glutton
Notes : Huge ugly monster with a gaping maw and tongue. I am guessing this is where that researcher Bowman, ended up.. and turned into. You somehow run into him when Aya has to fall into the incinerator. Whoa! Talk about ugly! His looks are worse then his actual bite (well, sorta). This boss has an instant death move, and that is when he preforms his 'Black Hole' attack. You'll be able to notice this when it opens its mouth and sucks things in like a vaccuum, causing random pieces of garbage to fly into his mouth.. and even drag Aya closer. I would advise having the rifle equipped, and/or the grenade launcher for this. If you have the rifle with the grenade attachment, then that's good, also. Now, the only way you can really harm this guy is during its Black Hole attack. Which means, yes, you're gonna have to be firing a few rounds while Aya is sliding closer to its mouth. It's best to be somewhat within range, such as in the same screen so you can see how much distance Aya has from its maw while she's firing. When I did this, I had about two triggers, (or six bullets from the rifle) when the monster vacuumed, before I had to turn Aya in the other direction and have her run to avoid being eaten. You'll notice the suction stops, but it's mouth is still open for a moment. This is a good oppertunity to pull a trigger for some more rifle rounds, or even one of your grenades. Its favorite attack would be expelling mustard gas, which would threaten to poison Aya. You can tell he is about to use his gas attack when he stomps his 'foot'. If you run to the far end of the room then it won't touch her (despite what it may look like on the screen). The acid rain is very easy to avoid, by having Aya run around, and away from the black shadows that tell you where that acid is about to land. He also begins to spit out this goop which sticks Aya to the ground; to avoid this, simply advance closer to the monster to change screens, and don't stay in one place too long. His tongue attack is relatively easy to dodge, so finishing this guy off the first time is easy. Take your exp, heal yourself if you have to, and proceed through those doors that just got a power surge. Of course, I don't know how those big doors open themselves, but we have to deal with that mosnter again, so up and at 'em! You'll notice if you run to the end of the corridor, there's a small area into the side of the wall, right before what looks like a platform. Raise the platform by stepping on a small switch, keep running into the indent while that monster tries to suck you up, and then run across the platform as soon as you can. Once you lure the monster onto the platform, another panel to step on in another indent will lower the platform (granted only if the monster is on the platform) and hmm.. press it again and .. SQUISH! TRASH COMPACTOR TIME!.. bye now. If you wish to shoot at it while it's stuck on the lowered platform to finish it off that way, then sure, go for it!
Hit Points : 3000(3000)
Attacks : Spit(paralysis) Mustard Gas (25, poison) Acid Rain(30) Vomit(35, stick) Tongue(50, can force Aya into it's mouth=death) Black Hole(death by being eaten..)
Weakness : Mouth
Outcome : EXP: 500(700) BP: 200(200) MP: 100(100)

Island, Neo Ark, Shelter >> top^

Sea Diver
Notes : Heh! It's a giant version of the Bog Diver. (Un)fortunately, only it's size and HP has improved, so it's not a big deal. Keep Aya moving when you see it about to throw a cloud of energy, then pause to unload a few grenades, rifle rounds, and/or pyro in well timed intervals. Apobiosis stuns this guy for a bit. The pool of goo it leaves behind will also surface a helpful item.
Hit Points : 2000
Attacks : Lightning Bolt (26)
Weakness : Flame
Outcome : EXP: 400 BP: 1000 MP: 15

Generator Room, Neo Ark, Shelter >> top^

Proto Generator
Notes : A large, blue/grey colored mass set on machinery, somewhat has a face. Hm, you'll notice that when you try to shoot a few rounds at it, it groans, but it's instantly healed. Let's deal with this big guy later. Walking to the far end of the room, we'll play with the lasers. The only real problem here is them, but if you were in the room with the Shelter monitors, you shut off the security (didn't you?) and they should just sit there and never attack. More astoundingly easy EXP. Use the baton to whack them to bits and conserve ammo, or use freebie bullets in any weapon. The next target is that monitor and console that those lasers seemed to be put there to protect. It's the life-support system for that big lump of monster generating energy for the sanctuary. Get rid of that in the same method, and then go back to that pug ugly face to get rid of it. And wow, was that easy or what?
Hit Points : 500
Attacks : None
Weakness : Life Support System
Outcome : EXP: 200 BP: 100 MP: 100

Generator Room, Neo Ark, Shelter >> top^

Beta Generator
Notes : A large pink colored mass set on machinery, has a face. Sheesh! Same method as described for the Proto generator, and same tactics. When the battle is over, have Aya check the podium the monster used to be on, and she reflects what she heard the monster think before it died. Pretty inspiring stuff. Kudos to those who added the extra deep moment. You'll find a crate of hydra bullets by the generator transformers (before the stairs), also.
Hit Points : 750
Attacks : None
Weakness : Life Support System
Outcome : EXP: 400 BP: 200 MP: 100

Eve's Nursery, B6, Shelter >> top^

Puppet Stinger
Notes : Ack! It's a giant version of the Brain stinger, and well, even more deadlier. Two Derangement machines are on either side of it, and that little girl, Eve, is manipulating it (Don't try to attack her, it won't work). I hope you have at least two dozen grenades, you're going to need them! If you're prepared with an armor that avoids silence, and/or paralysis, poison, it will benefit you. And save your MP for when you think you might need to heal (if your HP reaches below the half mark). If you plant yourself right between the two machines, and infront of the monster, you might only need to focus on the loading and unloading of grenades. Don't hesitate, just unload! Often you can interrupt its attacks before it has a chance to use them on you. Sometimes Eve heals it with a measily 80 HP, but if you're using the grenades (and energy shot), then you'll know it isn't enough to keep the monster from its doom. The derangement machines (that make the screen wavy) suck Aya's MP slowly, but I never bothered with them (If you run outta MP, though, they start to suck on her HP). True, if you blow one out it stuns the monster, but why waste ammo and time? The purple lasers will attempt to give you a status effect. I'd say, just stand there and take it (unless it's like paralysis or blindness, then metabolize). Focus on your loading. The red sphere will try to injure you severely; his super attack, which you'll notice takes him a while to charge while he raises his arms, casts Inferno (engulfs the whole screen in flames, and it takes off about 80-100HP if you get hit. To avoid this, run to the monster till Aya falls to the ground without being hurt, and you'll be invincible for a short time, since you're actually bouncing off the antibody barrier that's on Eve. The fire will die down). If you fire grenades in the middle of this casting (which you should, so you'll never have to experience Inferno), it will cause extra damage and will cancel his attack. You may need to use an MP replenishing item once in the fight, but that's the majority of it. This battle was no sweat for me, so it shouldn't be for you, either.
Hit Points : 4000
Attacks : Forked Laser(25, status) Trident Laser(25, status) Winding Laser(25, status) Pyrokinetics(30) Inferno(40)
Weakness : During Inferno Charging
Outcome : EXP: 1000 BP: 500 MP: 100
