Skyline: Nothing happens.

Plot: Frasier has bought a painting by artist Martha Paxton. When she speaks to him on his show he invites her to his cocktail party as guest of honour. Now all Frasier has to do is actually plan the party.....

Martha accepts, and Frasier invites his friends over to see the painting and meet her. But when she arrives Martha claims she doesn't recognise the painting and that she never painted it.

Frasier then takes it back to the gallery but they don't give him a refund. He decides the only option is left is revenge. Frasier goes to throw a brick through the window, but then Niles arrives. Can Niles stop Frasier?

Subtitles: What A Swell Party; #$&%*!!!; After He Left; Peachfuzz.

It's Maris!!!: Maris exhausts easily trying to be interesting and is currently resting on Frasier's bed.

Martin knows..... Doris, the operator who laughed when Frasier asked for the "Fine Arts Forgery Department". Martin suggested Frasier make the call to give him a "bite of reality sandwich".

Trivia: Martin meets Roz in this episode. This isn't the first time Frasier gets himself involved with the police (in Season 6 he accidentally picks up a prostitute.). Maris finally ventures to Frasier's apartment for the party, although we don't see her because she's lying on Frasier's bed "exhausted from the pressure to be interesting". Mention of the Weeping Lotus Case.
