Skyline: The lift travels up the Seattle Space Needle.

Plot: Frasier buys Martin a telescope as something to do during the day. Martin is very pleased with the present. Eventually he strikes up a long distance friendship with Irene, a woman in the skyscraper opposite who is doing the same thing - being a voyeur.

Frasier begins to tease Martin about his "girlfriend" after they write messages to each other on notepads. Frasier gives Irene his 'phone number so she and Martin can talk, and eventually Frasier and Daphne think it is time for Martin and Irene to go on a date. But Martin isn't too happy with the idea.....

Meanwhile Maris' Aunt Patrice has come to visit. And she's no ordinary woman either.....

Subtitles: A Room With A View; Getting To Know You; Forcas Fracas; Gu-Gulp!!!

It's Maris!!!: Maris' aunt doesn't know how tall her niece is, because Maris is always being forced to lie down by one ailment or another.

Where Everybody Knows Your Name: Mentions of Lilith and Frederick (he phoned his dad for comfort after he dreamt there was a Senator hiding in his wardrobe)

Trivia: This is the first and only episode written by Brad Hall, and also the first episode to be directed by Andy Ackerman. Mention of Hester Crane, whose middle name we discover was Rose.
