Niles spends the night at Frasier's and is heard crying himself to sleep when Daphne and Eric come back and Daphne goes to bed after their romantic kiss goodnight. Next morning Daphne keeps talking about Eric, much to Niles' annoyance.

A few days later Niles and Daphne are at Maris' house preparing to welcome her back. They are soaked so Daphne changes into a night-gown. She then tells Niles she and Eric have broken up. Niles' feelings for her are getting stronger by the minute, and when Maris phones to say she's stuck in Arizona and can't get back until tomorrow morning, anything could happen.....

It's Maris!!!: Niles first met Maris when she was banging on the gates to her home after returning late from an antique fair. Back in the present, Niles tried to spice up his sex life by hiding in a cupboard wearing only an eye patch and left clues for Maris to find him. Unfortunately she didn't, as the maid did instead.....

Roz loves..... the guy whom Roz decided they should act like total strangers and pick each other up again. Unfortunately he picked up another woman instead.

Trivia: Final appearance of Eric.
