Skyline: A helicopter appears over the city.

Plot: Frasier has borrowed a book from Tom Duran, the station manager. And Daphne has borrowed it from Frasier. Frasier, against Martin's advice, goes into Daphne's room to get it - and is caught by her. Frasier says his apologies and that it will never happen again, and Daphne forgives him.

Later Frasier realises he accidentally took Daphne's pills, so once again he goes into her room to put them back. Daphne tells Martin to do his exercises, and Frasier sees his chance - but Martin refuses. Daphne then goes into her room and Frasier hides in the bathroom. Daphne then comes in for a shower, and Frasier hides behind the door. Eddie then comes in and starts drinking from the toilet, and Daphne calls him "dirty". Thinking he's been caught, Frasier bursts out and apologises - much to Daphne's horror.

A few days later Daphne is still not speaking to Frasier, and is threatening to leave. Frasier wants to make it up to her somehow, but when Niles suggests doing what he does to say sorry to Maris - buy her a new Mercedes - Frasier scorns at it. Later though Niles threatens to walk into Daphne's room, and when Frasier tries to stop him they both fall in. Martin and Eddie also come in to try and sort things out - and all four are caught by Daphne. Frasier will have to write a very big cheque for her to stay.....

Subtitles: To Boldly Go Where No Man Has Gone Before; Indiana Crane And The Disposal Of Doom; Peace At Any Cost.

It's Maris!!!: Maris is sulking because Niles isn't doing anything for her 40th birthday - just as she requested. Frasier remarks this isn't the first time she's turned 40. Martin suggests Niles give Maris a very big hug by sweeping her off her feet. Niles says he can't - Maris has abnormally rigid vertebrae. She would "snap like a twig". And we learn a whole branch of Maris' family tree were slaughtered by the Huguenots.

Trivia: This episode was also known as "A Room With A View" by some UK listings mags - though why that was I don't know. Mentions of two of Daphne's brothers - Nigel and Billy. And Eddie holds a bra in his mouth for the first time!!!
