Skyline: The light at the top of the Space Needle flashes.Plot: When Roz asks Frasier for advice for a problem she's having - she accidentally said "I love you" to a man who didn't feel the same way - it sets Frasier thinking. He has never heard Martin say those three words to him, even though he says them to both Duke and Eddie. Frasier decides to join Martin on his Canadian fishing trip after Duke has to pull out, thinking maybe he'll hear Martin say those three little words. Niles comes too after Daphne remarks on how masculine it is. Upon their arrival at the lake, the Cranes lose Niles' car keys, and they are trapped inside the cabin. Frasier's mood grows darker as Niles keeps annoying him with all these facts he has learnt about the various fish. Luckily, there is plenty of alcohol around - such as Martin's bottle of Jim Beam and some whisky. They start drinking and singing (pieces from operas, but Martin doesn't seem to mind as he joins in). The conversation turns to a certain three words - will Frasier get his wish and hear Martin say he loves him? He may, but a lot of whisky may have to be drunk first..... Subtitles: Roz Doyle And The Temple Of Doom; I Only Have Eyes For You; Proof That Hell Really Does Freeze Over. It's Maris!!!: Nothing frightens Niles now - he has seen the rehearsals for Maris' dance troupe. Later Frasier wonders if Maris has ever said "I love you" to Niles? Niles says it would be nice, but they should stick to "attainable goals". Roz loves..... the guy whom she accidentally said "I love you" to instead of "I love that". The relationship ended after that. Trivia: Mentions of Duke. By the way, Frasier and Martin manage to catch a load of fish, and Daphne kisses them on their return. Niles only catches one - but still gets kissed. |
