Skyline: Lightning storm.

Plot: For the second year running, Frasier and Niles have been nominated for a SeaBee award. Frasier is pleased with the praise he gets, especially from Kari, a caller who says she's his number one fan. But Frasier begins to get suspicious of Kari when she manages to get a scarf in his briefcase, a note into his jacket and balloons to his apartment. When Kari tells Frasier she'll be there at the awards, Frasier begins to panic.

Frasier decides to hire a bodyguard, Cindy. On the night of the awards, he, his family and Cindy attend where they see Bulldog, who makes a move on Cindy. Roz turns up with a big spot on her nose and spends the whole evening trying to cover it up. But Frasier's paranoia is getting worse - just who is Kari? She could be the head of the awards, or even Cindy.

Martin finally finds out who Kari is - just a harmless fan who did not mean any harm whatsoever to Frasier. But Frasier is convinced that Cindy is Kari and has "escaped" from her down to the car park - where he almost ends up getting beaten up in the car park by some thugs he accidentally insults.

Subtitles: Getting A Bit Loopy; Krakatoa, West Of Java (The Movie Was Wrong); Someone To Watch Over Me; The Lady In Red.

It's Maris!!!: Maris is jealous - surely she is important enough to have a bodyguard too? Maris won't attend the awards as her manicurist is ill and she won't be seen in public without perfect nails.

Roz loves..... the guy who was her date for the SeaBee awards. She cancelled her date after she got a large spot on her nose.

Trivia: This is the last episode written by Don Seigel. Amongst the methods Roz uses to try and cover the spot are putting a cold teabag on it, covering it with the programme and covering it with her hair.
