Skyline: A rain-cloud passes over the city.

Plot: Frasier can't stop thinking about Kate and their time together. He wonders if he's really fallen for her, and after deciding yes he has, he decides to tell Kate. Before he can though, she tells him that she is moving to Chicago that night for a new job.

Frasier can't forget about her, even though he has a date with another woman, Donna, that night. He goes to Kate's apartment and tells her his feelings. She feels the same way, and they decide to continue their relationship even though they'll be far apart. Frasier drives Kate to the airport, where they say goodbye.

Just as Frasier is leaving though, it is announced that Kate's flight is postponed. She and Frasier get back together and get to know each other - but they realise they don't have much in common after all. Realising that a relationship between them just wouldn't work out, and that rather than being in love with each other they were just in lust, Frasier and Kate say a final goodbye.

Meanwhile, Niles decides to watch some old films that he has never seen before, but everyone keeps inadvertatly spoiling the endings of them for him.

Subtitles: The City With Broad, Bare Shoulders; It's Hard To Say Goodbye If You Won't Leave.

Martin knows….. Murray Dingman, an old army friend who Martin is writing to. Niles is watching him do this, correcting his grammar at the same time.

Trivia: Final appearance of Kate, as she moves to Chicago at the end of this episode - just like Charlotte will do in the final season. Mention of Hester Crane, as Martin reveals he fantasised about her wearing a cheerleaders outfit in front of a fire. First episode with flashbacks, as scenes from previous episodes with Kate are shown.
