Skyline: Nothing happens

Plot: Maris is in trouble - while passing a shoe-shop, her hand-eye co-ordination deteriorated and when stopped, the police discovered she had 112 unpaid parking tickets. She phones Niles for help, and he is overjoyed - this could be a reconciliation. But Martin refuses to use his police connections to help Maris, and so Niles has to go elsewhere.

After hearing from Roz about Jerome Belasco, a man who can "fix" things, the brothers Crane arrange to meet him. He manages to get Maris' tickets "sorted", and Niles is overjoyed. He offers to pay Jerome, but he refuses. So he offers to do a favour in return.

And Jerome expects Dr Crane to do his favour - Frasier Crane that is!!! His girlfriend Brandy won't marry him and he wants him to tell her to do so on his show. When she does call in, she tells him why she won't marry him - it turns out he won't let her have a job, and the sex isn't that good. Frasier tells her to leave him, and counts down his hours to live. Luckily Niles is able to give Brandy a job as his receptionist to please Jerome (it turns out that Brandy had been fired from dozens of jobs, which is why Jerome wasn't too happy with her getting a job at first).

Subtitles: The Little Commodore; A Word To The Wiseguy; Doesn't Everyone Have Poi Ramekins?

It's Maris!!!: Maris used to call her father "The Commodore". He sorted everything out when she stole a crucifx from the Vatican. If Maris were imprisoned, the bars would have to be moved closer together, says Frasier. Maris also believes her allergy to chocolate entitles her to use disabled parking tickets.

Roz loves….. A guy named Phil, who had trouble with the police.

Trivia: Randy Travis (Steve) has one of the shortest caller phrases - all he says is "Yeah thanks Doc." Maris also says "thank you" to Niles for the first time. A bit of unintentional foreshadowing here - Frasier talks about Maris being in prison, where of course she ends up in Ep 242 "Murder Most Maris"!
