Skyline: The lift travels up the Seattle Space Needle.Plot: It's February 29th, and Frasier thinks it's the perfect day for everyone to take a "leap". He urges everyone to do something they wouldn't usually do. Daphne decides to go for a new haircut, Martin goes to Montana for his friend's birthday party, Roz reveals on air her love for someone she saw on a bus. And Frasier himself will sing an aria from Verdi's Rigeletto on the telethon he's appearing on that night instead of his usual Buttons and Bows. However things start to go wrong for the leapers. Martin's flight nearly ends in disaster, Roz finds out her love is married and Daphne's hair is a disaster. Frasier is worried - his aria is not going so well, so maybe he should stick to Buttons and Bows. At the very last minute, just before he goes on air, he decides to sing Buttons and Bows once again. However he has spent so much time practising his aria that he has forgotten the words….. Meanwhile Maris wants to "get together" with Niles - she wants to have sex with him. Niles is very keen to do this, but Frasier warns him against it, fearing it could ruin any reconciliation between them. So poor Niles has to spend the day trying not to think of sex with his wife - a very hard job! Subtitles: No, But I Hear Olag Cassini Takes That Bus; Huh? It's Maris!!!…..Cold Showers: Frasier suggests Niles take a cold shower to stop thinking about Maris, but then realises this would make him think of her even more. Roz loves….. Gary, who Roz met on a bus. She called him "cute" and appealed over the airwaves to see him again, before finding out he was married.…. Martin knows….. Jimmy, whose birthday is February 29th (so he's either 16 or 64 depending which way you look at it). Martin is going to his party, where they have a "best scar" competition. Martin thinks he can win now that Shark Bait O'Reilly has died Trivia: Mention of Hester. Martin does an impression of Daphne that mentions Grammie Moon (the little in-joke here is that John Mahoney is really from Britain!). And Frasier also takes Eddie for a walk for the first time!!! |
