76 "A Crane's Critique"

Skyline: The lift travels up the Seattle Space Needle.
Plot: The Cranes are going shopping!!! On the way they stop at Cafe Nervosa when Frasier and Niles see one of their favourite authors, T H Houghton, leaving. Frasier and Niles chase after him, dragging Martin with them, and eventually they get to a bar, where Martin stays to watch the Mariners game whilst the boys find Houghton.
It turns out Martin finds him first as he was in the bar too. They talk about baseball and soon make friends. When his sons return, Martin makes arrangements to meet up somewhere. Then Ted leaves. Frasier and Niles are disappointed they didn't get to discuss his book with him.
A few days later Ted arrives and he and Martin leave. The boys realise Ted's left his briefcase behind. Inside is the manuscript for his new novel. But should they take a peek, especially when Ted is returning and the boys don't know he's doing so.....

Trivia: We lean Eddie barks to warn Daphne she'd better start working just before Frasier comes in. Alas, Frasier and Niles don't fall for this trick when Ted comes back.....
