Plot: It's Thanksgiving, and Lilith and Frederick are going to join Frasier, Niles and Martin in Niles' cabin in the Rockies. That is, until Lilith phones to say that Frederick has passed the qualifying exam for Mulberry Academy, Boston's most exclusive private school. She and Frasier will need to meet Dr Campbell there to try and get him in. So the Cranes fly off to Boston.

Frasier and Lilith head off to the academy. He and the two doctors do not get on and is evident that this dislike will stop Fredrick being accepted. They realise they have to join forces and drive back to the school, disrupting Dr Campbell's thanksgiving holiday. Even though they bought their own turkey, which Niles has spent ages cooking (and spends ages looking for it after his brother and Lilith nick it!!!).

Meanwhile Martin is looking after Frederick. But things aren't going too well, as during Martin's attempts to teach Frederick baseball he accidentaly gives his grandson a black eye, nosebleed and many more injuries!!!

Subtitles: Stop Saying Doctor; Beware Geeks Bearing Gifts.

It's Maris!!!…..Thanksgiving: The sight of pudding reduces Maris to tears.

It's Maris!!!…..Bad News Is Slimming Down: The best way to give Maris bad news is to put tranquillisers in her Slim-Fast.

Where Everybody Knows Your Name: Most of this episode takes place in Boston - I wonder if Frasier dropped in at Cheers during his stay? Reappearances of Lilith and Frederick in what is the their first appearance together.

Trivia: Mention of Brian, Lilith's husband, who is in New Zealand studying a volcano. Niles says Lilith cannot be with him because "…if she accidentally fell in the shock wave from the hottest thing in nature meeting the coldest would actually crack the Earth in too"!!!.
