Skyline: Nothing happens.

Plot: It's a good day in Seattle, but not for KACL as no-one is calling in. When somebody does due to depression, Frasier tells her a story about Eddie three days ago.

Eddie is depressed. Nothing seems to be cheering him up. Daphne suggests calling in a dog psychiatrist, whilst Martin thinks maybe getting another dog would be the answer.

Eventually they call in the dog psychiatrist, Dr Arnold Shaw. Dr Shaw tries to get to the root of Eddie's depression whilst Frasier and Niles are taking the mickey out of him. Dr Shaw comes up with a answer - Eddie is depressed because everyone else around him is depressed. This leads to a conversation about the causes of depression and why we exist. But could it all be due to Eddie losing his favourite toy?
