Skyline: The light at the top of the Space Needle flashes.Plot: Lilith is back in town, with some sad news. Her husband Brian has left her - for another man - and she's come to see Frasier for support. Frasier feels sorry for her and invites her to accompany him and Niles to the Union Club that night. At Cafe Nervosa, Frasier tells Niles the news, but Niles has narcolepsy. He keeps dozing off and blames it on his troubles with Maris. Frasier confesses he's finding Lilith very attractive at present, but doesn't want to sleep with her because he knows they'll both regret it. He asks Niles to make sure he doesn't get carried away. Niles has a job on his hands that evening because Lilith turns up wearing a very revealing dress. However, he does his job well because Frasier isn't lying next to Lilith in her hotel room next morning. But someone is - Niles!!! He and Lilith are horrified at what they've done, and to make it worse Frasier finds out..... Subtitles: The Ice Woman Cometh; Strange Interlude; Long Night's Journey Into Day. It's Maris!!!.....Ice Tango: Niles falls asleep against the ice-box (refrigerator for us Brits!!!) and when woken says he dreamt he was dancing the tango with Maris. Where Everybody Knows Your Name: Mentions of Frederick and Brian, and of course spectacular appearance of Lilith!!! Trivia: We first met Brian in Ep 33 "Adventures In Paradise, Part 2". Niles says he owes Martin $5 when he hears about Lilith and Brian. The subtitles in this episode are based on Eugene O'Neill plays. And for some reason, Daphne does not get her psychic headaches when Lilith is in Seattle, meaning she and Martin have no warning..... |
