Skyline: A full moon rises.Plot: Frasier is waiting for Niles at a restaurant, but he's late due to his trousers being ripped. When Roz walks in with her date Luke, Frasier goes over to their table to chat. Roz's pager goes off - Alice is in trouble and she has to go. Frasier and Luke stay and find they get on very well. Frasier agrees to help Luke writer a book about his boating adventures. Later on Frasier finds out from Roz that she saw Luke with another woman - and therefore they have split up. Frasier goes over to Luke's' to break up their friendship, saying his loyalties to Roz are greater - but they think that they can still be friends with other, even without Roz. They decide to meet in secret though so as not to hurt Roz's feelings. Frasier meets Roz at Café Nervosa and she thanks him for being a loyal friend. Unknown to Frasier, she has got back together with Luke and is meeting him that night. Luke calls Frasier to say he's cancelled for tonight as he has other plans. Frasier then tells Roz he's free and would she like to go out for dinner? Roz says yes, she phones Luke, who phones Frasier.....each unaware of the other's plans. Niles is gleefully listening to all of this. The two eventually find themselves hiding in Luke's closet when he comes home with a new date..... Meanwhile Martin is cross with Niles - he'd been on holiday and Niles was supposed to be looking after Eddie. But Niles put Eddie into kennels instead..... Subtitles: A Double Life; With Apologies To Mr. Vonnegut. Roz loves.....Luke Parker, who also becomes friendly with Frasier. Trivia: This is the first episode directed by Scott Ellis. Mention of Alice Doyle - she has a bead stuck up her nose and Roz has to leave her date. A lot of Eddie too. And Daphne begins the over-eating storyline that is used to disguise Jane Leeves' pregnancy. |
