Skyline: The lift travels up the Seattle Space Needle.

Plot: Frasier has hired Abby Michaels, a lawyer, to handle his lawsuit with Donny. She is very attractive and Frasier has fallen for her. When she arrives to tell them that Donny has dropped the lawsuit, everyone agrees to go out to a restaurant a few days later to celebrate. Later, Frasier asks her out.

Frasier receives Abby's bill in the post and everyone thinks she's been charged too much. Frasier is unsure about this, but he becomes suspicious when at the restaurant Abby is rung by a client - and she turns on her watch to time the call, forgetting to turn it off afterwards. Also at the restaurant is Donny - he's celebrating his engagement to someone else, hence the lawsuit being dropped.

Frasier decides to send Abby an e-mail asking exactly how much she's charging and what for - ie how much for 'phone calls etc. Daphne is also feeling guilty - she thinks Donny may be marrying his girlfriend Nancy as he's on the rebound - and goes to see him to make sure he's OK and finally say goodbye.

Meanwhile Frasier receives a message from Abby - she wants him there urgently. Frasier thinks it's due to the e-mail, but it isn't - Abby's computer isn't working. While it is being fixed, she tells him her bosses are cross with her because she gave him a discount. And then she proceeds to read her e-mail.....

Subtitles: Going Up.

Martin knows.....the guys down the precinct who told him a joke about lawyers.

Trivia: This is the first episode written by Saladin K Patterson. Mention of Alice Doyle - Roz is taping Frasier's classical music for her as she heard listening to classical music makes you smarter. Reappearance of Donny's mum by the way.
