hi, my name is jayne-ann, and i'm 14. here's how i came into our family. one night Charity and some of the kids were sitting together in the gathering room in our head, and i just kinda walked in. i told them i didn't know what my name was and i didn't have anyplace to live. and then Charity said "you can stay with us," and she tried to think of a name for me. "how about jayne?" she said, and i said, "jayne-ann." i don't know why i added the second part. it just seemed right.

soon after i joined the family, i kind of adopted nell, who was also an orphan, as my little sister. she's 3.

i also became a

chr*st*an in august 1998. i have shawn to thank for that. smiley

there's still a lot i don't know about myself. i guess cuz i spend most of the time helping take care of the little kids and doing stuff around the house. i'm not like cinderella or anything. i have fun too. it's just that i'm kinda quiet i guess.
