MIDI Music: "Hands"

being a part of this inside family has been a journey back to myself. since i didn't know who i was when i came here, i've taken every chance i can to learn more about who i am, what i believe, and how i want to live my life.

probably my biggest role model is shawn, and i spend a lot of time with her, helping take care of the little kids and doing other everyday stuff for us. i kind of like that, because it gives me a feeling that i belong, that i'm a part of this family.

well, that kind of carries over into my faith, i guess, cuz one day in august 1998 i said to myself, "i want what shawn's got." shawn had faith in jesus, so that was what i wanted.

and then i felt it. i had given myself to him. what's really cool about all this is that i know i'll never be without a family again...my own inside family, or the family of believers. that's definitely pretty cool. :-)

i picked "hands" as the theme for my testimony for a couple of reasons. one is that it stands for doing stuff for my family, busy hands and all that. the other is because i think the song kind of tells it all, "only kindness matters in the end."
