Meet Tequila. Tequila is a mixed breed long-haired cat that came to us from a friend who was looking for homes for her cat's latest litter of kittens. Unfortunately, Tequila's mom was not keeping up with feeding her kittens, so at 5 weeks old, Tequila needed us to bottle feed her. She was so tiny. Two BIG blue eyes attached to a little ball of fluff. That was in July of 1996. She is still a small cat, 8 pounds, but she has a huge personality. She is very affectionate and loves to meet everyone that comes to visit.
Tequila is strictly and indoor cat. She will run to the door every chance she gets trying for an opportunity to get outside. I think she gets tired of being cooped up with those 'nasty' dogs....
Having grown up with dogs, Nicco especially, she tolerates them. I don't think she's fond of them, but she tolerates them. She has to keep Sadie in line constantly. As a matter of fact, she beats Sadie up on a regular basis. Sadie, being Sadie, keeps going back for more. I don't think she has forgiven me yet for bringing Toot home. She still won't let Toot get near her. But, we're working on it. At least Toot doesn't try to make her a snack...
