Having pets is one of the joys of life everyone needs to
experience. I wouldn't say that I treat my pets as if they were human, but they are
certainly a part of the family and I wouldn't trade them for anything.
Each one has a distinct personality and we get so much enjoyment by having them
be a part of our lives.
You might think from viewing each of the pet pages that I am biased towards Toot. Let me assure you that each of my babies gets all the attention they can handle. However, since Toot came to live with us I have found out what a remarkable breed the greyhound is. Unless you too own a greyhound, it is not something that is easily explained. They do require a little special attention given their background. For instance, greyhounds have very little body fat. Toot has to wear a sweater or coat outside when the temperatures dip. He is definitely special in his own way, just as all the others are.
