Historical Places The amin church was finally buitr in 1.776 and wholy rebuilt in 1.884 to give it a neoclassical physiognomy, it is one of the most beautifol temples in Aragua. It is docated to Villa de Cura protector San Luis, king of france.It was declares National Historical Monument in August of 1.960.

Sacred Sepulcher House or Bove´s House

It is an important property built in the late years of  XVIII century as family residence and today is very domeyed and mutitated buy the haif. Is was provisional head guarters in 1.881 of the presidency of the great Guzmán Blanco state. It keeps indoors the Sacred Sepulcher image which was built more than two hundred years ago. It is on of the symbols of the Villa de Cura people.

Ezequiel Zamora´s House

It is located at the east end of the Bolívar avence, Ezequiel Zamora´s grocery store or bodega was there, and from there he took advantage for the liberal ideological preaching. It is a particular residence and a badge in its front remembers the historial character.

Rafael Bolívar Coronado

It is the house where he was born in June 6, 1.884. He was a writer, poet and journalist. He wrote the lyrics of the “Alma Llanera”. A badge remembers him.

Bocachica Place

It is located in the highway Villa de Cura – San Juan de los Morros. A battle took place here on March 31, 1.814 being victorious the General Santiago Mariño on the Colomel José Tomás Bove´s troops. A bust was erected on a prominence of the land ordered by the members of the Batalla de Bocachica promotron of the EFOFAC.

La Puerta Place It is located in the limits of the Aragua y Guárico. There, two bloody battles took place. In february 3, 1.814 Boves defeated Campo Elías and on June, 14 Boves defeated Bolívar and Mariño. On December, 1.901 the General Juan Vicente Gómez defeated in a gurck skirmish to the General Luciano Mendoza and remembering this date a stony arch was built in 1.926 which remembers the doors of the (mesopotamian) city of persepolis.

TURISTIC

Tierrablanca Reservoir

It is located in the highway from Villa de Cura to San Juan de los Morros, it depends from the ministry of environment and renewable natural resources. In the reservoir, navigation to oar and fishing of species like pavon  and petenia can be practiced. The tourists can take a bath in the river and enjoy the recreation and sports area. Parleing, lots, sanitariums among others are avariable.

Valencia Lake

One can enjoy the landscape and with the, proprietors or administrators´permission you can practice fishing and navigation.

Taiguaiguai Reservoir

It is located in the highway Villa de Cura – Cagua, you cam enjoy the lundscape, especially the sunrises and the sunsets. Some banie fishing is allowed but navigation is not.

Tucutunemo Valley

It is a beautiful cultivated extension alony El Ancon, El Cortijo, Los Bagres, Las Yunitas and La Lagunita places. Landscape diversity is appreciated and by lorry you can arrive to El Pao de Zarate whose river is visited very often. The journey is approximately of 30 minutes from Villa de Cura to La Victoria for this fresh road and of very good temperature.

Sierra of the South

Even whwn it is mostty located in the Guárico and Carabobo states is is accessible goiny from Villa de Cura. It is terrestrial of cultivation and cuttle rising. At the foor of the mountain it is the country property Santa Rosa, prodvier of coffee and smaller fruits. Ist main house has the importance that in it, the lyrics  “Alma Llanera” operetta was written in 1.913 by the inteltectual from Villa de Cura Rafael Bolívar Coronado.

Ramón Sosa Montes de Oca Park (Las Minas Saman)

Las Minas Saman is an exemplary tree of the Aragua state flora. It has more than 600 years. The park is a resting place which takes advantage of the shade of the stout tree. It has grills, green areas, and parlcing lots.
