Bursting at the Seams in Romblon

One request that we had asked for people to pray about before the workshop was: “We never know who may show up to a workshop until the first morning. Please pray for just the right participants to be involved.”
We arrived at the first workshop at Romblon National High School at 7:00 AM on Monday morning. Just minutes later participants began registering. By the end of the first day, we had about 100 registered! After the second day we had 147 participants! None of us had ever seen such a huge turnout at a song-writing workshop.
The Bible translators who invited us to hold the workshop have a good relationship with the local DepEd* supervisor. She sent out a memorandum which strongly encouraged teachers to attend this workshop. Besides the 97 teachers who attended, there were also 50 members from local churches.
