God sent the right facilitators

It was obvious that God intended for the three of us to work together at these workshops. The participants at Romblon were divided between teachers and church members. The teachers wanted and expected to learn concepts that they could take back into their classrooms. Usually, our music workshops are intended for church musicians to learn the importance of making music in their language and cultural style.
The solution was to have Elizabeth and Glenn B. teach the teachers for a couple sessions while Glenn S. taught the church leaders. Elizabeth and Glenn B. taught sessions on basic music theory, teaching strategies, conducting, vocal technique, and instruments. This way, the teachers were able to learn practical ways to bring music into their classroom and the church leaders were able to learn about God’s purpose in worship.
Because God is sovereign, the three facilitators were able to manage two completely different groups of people and expectations.
