Sweating it out

The workshops were held at the end of hot season in the Philippines. That meant the daily temperature was in the upper 90’s (Fahrenheit) with high humidity. Even if we had airconditioning at Romblon H.S., it wouldn’t have done much good due to the brownouts. So many people were running their A/C at home that the power company couldn’t keep up. As you can imagine, by the end of each day we were all drenched with our own perspiration. We really commend the participants for their good attitudes through the stifling heat. We also praise the Lord that the power stayed on for the entire recording session on Thursday, allowing us to use electric guitars and keyboards in the songs.

Elizabeth and Glenn B. try with marginal success to stay cool (and dry) during a brownout. |
