![]() The Official GWA Rumors Page Containing Possible Things To Look For At Up And Coming Shows. A1 Prime Rumors: Week of 5/06/01
This is the first edition of A1 Prime. It has been a few weeks before any fresh rumors have been up between being in Cozumel, Mexico and Boomer being gone it's been a busy couple of weeks but it's time for some new rumors.
GWA News
Hirings - There was one hiring this week and it was the hiring of Cruncher. Cruncher, whose other AWWF alias as Jeff Storm, is not a stranger to the GWA. He made one match before AWWF closed down but has since signed with the GWA. He has now become Boomer's partner in the Corporates which comes as no surprise because they were almost Tag Team Champions in the AWWF. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think they got one title shot or were number two contenders. Also Superstar Scott Elias signed but we all know his story.
Firings - There were a lot of firings this week. Mr. Val, The Goodman, Pat Buchanan, and Ivoree were all let go because I got sick of them. (they were all my character anyway.) Shazaam was given numerous matches, including matches against Krazie Thug and Cruncher, two of the brightest of the GWA's up and coming stars. But he never showed up to role play.
GWA Site News - I just don't know what the #e!! is going on with this crap anymore. First it was The Source then they closed. Then it was IWN and now they have been bought out. IWN then turned into something else but we never got the password so we aren't affiliates of them. But finally some good news is that we are an affiliate of Independent Backyard Wrestling, IBW, which the GWA is very familiar with, as most of you know about that crap in September when it closed. But now they have re-opened and are an affiliate, obviously, because we show "clips" of Superstar and Ryan Elias on Rage, Mayhem, and Impact. ( I don't think we're going back there any time soon though.)
Rumors
Krazie Thug - Krazie Thug is not a very happy person since Rage last Friday Night. There has been some controversy over the decision of having Ron "The Thrill" Hill win the match. He came out and said his words about the decision, which is fine, but now it has balooned into something more. Grave Master has responded and now Grave Master and Krazie Thug have been arguing on the Role Play Board over the past couple of days. Krazie Thug won't be in town, he will be in California, for the next two weeks so don't expect anything more out of this for a while. But when he comes back there will still be a week's worth of shows and expect a Legion, Thrill, Grave Master, and Krazie Thug storyline to become one of the centers of Slamefest. Even after Slamfest expect tempers to flare between these four. If there is the fatal fourway IC match between the four mentione and either Grave Master or Krazie Thug wins, expect a Grave Master and Krazie Thug match at Ruler of the Ring 2K1 in June.
Superstar Scott Elias - Superstar Scott Elias has come back and he has made a huge impact so far. On Rage he came out and interupted Boomer. As punishement Boomer is putting him against me on Mayhem. That is punishment in my book but anyway this storyline can go far and to a lot of places. Boomer and Superstar, when he was Darkside, had a memorable fued over the ownership of the company last summer and it culminated in Darkside's firing. Expect this to become a long fued lasting maybe into August if it goes the right way. I'd expect Darkside to face one of The Corporates at Slamfest, more then likely Beach Dude, being the commishioner, but anything can happen. Darkside might team up with his brother, but that's not likely. Superstar might even face Ryan Elias or any combination of The Corporates. The possibilities are endless.
And 1 - The Best 1, The Only 1, The And 1 has returned and anything can happen right now. By facing Superstar tomorrow night on Rage and Mix N' Match at the Pay-Per-View, And 1 is a heel on his re-entry. Mix and Superstar are both strong faces. BK might even be a possible match down the line, probably this month, for And 1. Mix N' Match has had the IC Title and expect And 1 to circle around the Intercontinental Championship for a while, being the Best Intercontinental Championship of all time. The Thrill has it now but a possible fourway match is in the works for Slamfest. If Grave Master or Krazie Thug would win that possible match, it will still probably be another month until And 1 even gets a shot at the championship. July, the one year anniversary of his the beginning of his last IC Title rieghn (i can't spell) would probably be the most likely time for a strong IC Title push for And 1. And 1 might even be European Championship bound but I doubt it.
The Small Print
Weapon X is rumored to be in hot water lately for not role playing.
Bezerker's computer is acting up again so it could be a while until we see him. Hopefully he'll get back into the mix.
The annual awards ballot things will be up hopefully by Slamfest. If it is later the show probably won't happen.
Chainsaw could fight Jack Blackman at Slamfest or even Warrior.
Nemisis is not set to defend the Specialty Match title at Slamfest. But he will be in a match.
Here are some And 1 appearances. He might be coming to your town!
*All of these things are real. Come by if you're in the area to meet And 1!*
