U.S. AIR BASE RAMSTEIN, Germany Burg Nanstein, Landstuhl, Germany Landstuhl, host community for Landstuhl Army Post and
LRMC, is located across Autobahn 6 from Ramstein Air Base. The city was
built on the site of earlier Celtic and Germanic-Roman settlements. Where
the present Kolpinghaus meeting place stands, once stood a Frankish king's
court which dates back to the ninth century.

The symbol of Landstuhl is the Burg Nanstein, which offers during the summer outdoor theater. The view from the castle is amazing, you can see the town and also the Airbase Ramstein. |
