ougal's real name is Paul and he's 21 years of age and has been into happy since 14 when he helped set up the first Dreamscape rave. He used to work with his dad's mobile disco but now lives in Northampton near his favourite fish & chip shop (he loves cod & chips).

ince the early days he has become a top DJ winning 'DJ of the year' award and playing the 1994/1995 New year's slot at Dreamscape where he's now one of there regular favourites. He can also be seen playing at many other gatherings such as Ravealation, Helter Skelter, Hysteria and World Dance. He's also played at various clubs including Diehard, The Rhythm station and Kinetic.

ougal's set comprises mainly of his own original style but he has been known to use dub plates by the likes of Ramos, Brisk and Slipmatt. He generally plays what the crowd wants and often does a back to back set with DJ Vibes. He says that he wouldn't do this with any else though, as it's completely different then doing a normal set. Paul rates Slipmatt, Seduction, Vibes and Wishdokota as the best DJ's at present (as well as himself of course).P
aul's also released a good number of records including the 1994 anthem Feel Real Free that he mixed along with Vibes. His best known works are the Ravers Choice EP's and his techno track Take Me Up.I
