- Textile Resources for the Re-enactor
- A personally kept group of pages that manages to be practical as well as thoroughly researched and bibliographed. A number of scholarly sites link to it.

- An article for contructing a tunic based on "the only surviving complete Medieval man's outfit, found in the Bocksten bog in Sweden in 1936".
- The Basics of Byzantine Dress c. 1000 A.D.
- An informative site with both clean line drawings and pictures of archeological remains.
- Costume History
- "This page was put together as a class project by Thea 417 Costume History." Though humbly named, a rather extensive site, divided by period, of historical cosume. Uses both primary and secondary sources, with a good amount of informative text and many links to good pictures.

Local Medieval Re-Creation Group Links![]()
- The Barony of Concordia of the Snows
- This is the main local branch of the Society for Creative Anachronism, or SCA, encompassing Albany and Schenectady counties. Members of Hawks' Aerie go to a number of their meetings and practices, such as their choral practice, where we learn vocal pieces of the medieval and early-modern periods. Another, unofficial website for Concordia is also kept here on Geocities here.
- Another local branch of the SCA encompassing Rensselaer County, and based as a college club at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Club members also go to gatherings hosted by this group, such as their medieval dance practice, run in conjunction with Concordia, or their armored-combat practices.
- Norse Recreation Society
