Welcome to Queen Elizabeth's Boys' School : The Truth

This site has been running since April 2000, and feel that we have come to the end of an era. We feel that we have achieved what we have set out to do - our anger towards the QE Boys school has been vented in a constructive way and we know that this site has helped many of you to also get over the bad feelings you have towards the school. We have decided that we will no longer update the site, however we will still check and reply to emails and will keep the message board. The board will be moderated much less frequently, we are leaving it here for you as we feel it is important that you have it to vent all of your angers and talk about your respective memories of QE Boys' so make the most of it! By the way, when the board asks for a user name and password you don't have to register - just leave the password box blank and type whatever you want in the user name, you can register if you want though.

This site will remain here as evidence of what has been and hopefully to elighten future pupils about what will come.

We have not given up - we just feel that what we have set out to do has been done. Nothing will be removed from the site (unless we have complaints from anyone like our usual policy - which is unlikely!) and it will remain here. We will however add any articles to our site that we receive by email as it is only fair, but will not be writing any of our own unless the school gives us reason to.

This site was archived on Friday 27th July 2001 at midnight and everything has remained intact.

Introduction

This page is aimed at current and ex-students and especially prospective parents - we have no lies on this page, everything is the truth, please feel free to e-mail us to dispute anything on the page if you feel it to be untrue (though I note no one - not even the school, has been in contact with us to challenge anything on our site). If anyone has anything critical to say about our site, please mail it to us and we will be more than happy to put it on our complaints page (which to be honest looks a little bare)... though of course we could never compete with the 'excitingly designed' official web site - out of interest does anyone know why the counter was removed from the page after our number visitors overtook theirs?

We all left Queen Elizabeth's Boys School in the mid '90s and we're not being vindictive, we just want to make our experiences known - which is why if you anyone out there disputes ANYTHING on our site we want you to e-mail us and we will be more than happy to take the offending material off our site. Don't get us wrong, we do not feel that the school is academically poor, it takes a lot of hard work to take the best pupils in the surrounding areas and beat local schools such as 'Ravenscroft' in the league tables... We disagree with a lot of the methods used - especially by a majority of the teachers, who we clearly found to be teaching as some sort of a power trip as opposed doing it genuinely to help pupils further their education.

We're always interested in new articles from current or ex-students for our site - so feel free to send them to our new e-mail address and we'll be happy to post them on our web site, alternatively check out the message board. If you want to be put on our mailing list to be notified of new improvements to our web site, please e-mail us with the subject heading 'mailing list'.

With regards to plans for the site, we are going to update this site over the coming month in terms of layout with addition of a new menu system, and please view our 'downloads' section, where you can download our EXCLUSIVE wallpaper and a tasty site banner.
