Friends Of The PSG
The following people have not expressed complete and total disgust
at the idea of being described as our friends (although they may
change their minds after seeing their names here) ...
- Cainer, Adam
- Adam is Alan's oldest friend in the whole wide world. I don't mean
he's old, but he's the longest-remaining friend (no-one else still
talks to me). Adam lives in London (a small smoke-filled suburb in
southern England) with his wife Jaquie and their son

- Fox, Jane and Micheal
- Michael and Jane Fox are the parents of Joshua (see below) and are
thus part of the extended family that is taking over this
site. Michael is a Hebrew prof at the University of Wisconsin (and
speaks dd smtc lnggs to Joshua) and Jane is (by her definition) an
assistant dean and bureaucrat at the same. (Micheal's

- Fox, Louise, Joshua and Benjamin
- Louise is the older sister of Sharon
Silver and normally lives in Jerusalem (the eye of the universe)
where she runs a dress-making business. If you want a little something
running up for that important simcha, just nip on a 'plane and she
will get her tape measure and needles going. She is currently living
in Boston (USA) where her husband, Joshua, lectures at Harvard. He
speaks lots of dead Jewish languages (so if you want to know how to
say "How much is that doggie in the window" in

- Gaffin, Steven, Lexi, Yehuda Simcha and Esther Shira
- Steven and Lexi are long-time friends of the PSG and have set up a
franchise operation, Prestwich Smile Gemach (Har Nof)
Inc. They live in Har Nof, Israel, and Steven attends Ohr
Sameyach Yeshiva.
- Herbert
- Herbert is the snail that lives in our fish tank. He does not have an e-mail
address, but I'm sure he'd be pleased to see you when you next visit
the PSG World Headquarters.
- Kovacs, Avi

- Olswang, Peter and Betty
- Peter and Betty are the parents of Sharon Silver. They live in Manchester,
having decided that no-one in Sunderland could speak English properly
(the Manchester accent is of course the epitome of high class English,

- Rosalki, Jonathon and Yolanda
- Yolanda is the younger sister of Sharon
Silver. She and her husband Jonathon live in London (well,
somebody's got to). Yolanda is a graphic designer and Jonathon is a

- Schubach, Alice
- Alice Schubach is the mother of Bernard Schubach, who sends loads
of jokes for the PSG jokeline. Judging by her home page,
she seems to be a pretty cool lady. She has a good collection of jokes

- Schubach Bernard
- Bernie is the main contributer to the PSG jokeline. In his own
words "Bernie Schubach is known to us as someone who always
has a good (or otherwise) joke to share. When he's not sending us
jokes, he works as a computer programmer, and lives in Columbus,

- Silver, David, Irit, Dalia and Victoria
- David is the brother of Alan Silver.
He lives in Seattle, USA, along with his wife Irit and their two girls
Dalia and Victoria. David works for Microsoft and wrote the Hebrew
version of Windows and lots of bits of Windows 95. In fact David is
secretly Bill Gates in his spare time but doesn't want anyone to know
as he would be mobbed by journalists when he cycles to work. He is

- Silver, Ruth and Stanley
- The parents of Alan Silver, they are
not currently contactable via e-mail, but would be very happy to
receive letters and telephone calls (I think). You could communicate
with them by e-mail via either Alan Silver or David Silver.
- Singer, Michol
- Michol sits behind me (Alan) in shul and is the man responsible
for distributing the Rabbi Frand parsha sheets around Prestwich. His
