Services Provided By The PSG

The PSG provides many services, all of them totally daft. The overall idea (as you should have guessed if you read the introduction to the PSG page) is to make people smile. To achieve that lofty goal, we offer the following services to the world :-

• Big Smiles
  I know this one's a bit weak, but this is how the PSG really got going. We just kind of walk around with silly grins on our faces. It does seem to do the job though, people rarely scowl at us (mind you, they sometimes cross the street to avoid us, but that could be due to any one of a number of things I suppose).
• The PSG JokeLine
  This was actually one of the first ventures into sillyness by the PSG and predates the official PSG formation by several years. We got bored with dull "Sorry we're not home right now" type telephone answering machine messages, so we decided to spiff ours up a bit. Past highlights have been :-
  • The now classic "Zorba The Greek" message, complete with buzoukis (or however you spell it - you know those greek banjo things)
  • The not-quite-as-almost-classic-as-the-greek-one-but-we-liked-it-anyway "Wunderbar" message, which featured a large chorus and a very silly accent.
  • The massed voices of the PSG frog choir. Actually this was done after I discovered that our (now dead) hi-fi was capable of overdubbing tapes. I recorded a full male voice frog choir all by myself !! The result wasn't very musical, but it was fun.
  • A wide selection of corny jokes. Recent months have seen a succession of bad (but clean) jokes gracing the JokeLine. Many of these were supplied by friends of the PSG, sometimes voluntarily. We have started a list of some of our favourite jokes. Please feel free to contribute more.
• Complimentary Amusements
  These fabulous little pieces of paper have become collectors items all over the world (well, in our house anyway). For more information, including free samples, see the complimentary amusements page.
• A Selection Of Bright Posters
  The PSG has become fairly well-known in Prestwich due to the number of brightly coloured posters that have appeared in the area. Due to the fact that we have access to a colour printer, we are very popular with people wanting small posters. These are invariably produced in disgustingly offensive colours, with cheerful little pictures all over them.
• Oh, Lots Of Other Things As Well
  We also do loads of other things too numerous to mention (ie we can't think of them right now). If you have any ideas, please contact us and let us know.
