~APPLE OF HIS EYE~

He found him in a desert land, and in the waste howling wilderness; he led him about, he instructed him, he kept him as the apple of his eye. Deuteronomy 32:10

It is vital that we remember how pleasing it is to God when we choose to obey. No matter how we look or act, God LOVES us, but just like earthly parents, when we do and look our best, we are most pleasing. God is proud of us when we sacrifice and learn self-discipline. He watches our every move, our every struggle, and HE LOVES US. He will be with us continually. Let us follow his teachings and do all in our power to make him proud of us; in every undertaking.

Apple of His Eye-person or thing that one cherishes "Precious in His Sight"

2. Precious=of great price or value;held in high esteem (chosen) Isaiah 43:1-4,10, I Peter 2:9

3. Preserve=protect;keep from harm (faithful) Psalm 31:23

4. Luscious=good to the taste (speech) James 4:11, Prov.25:11, I Peter 3:10

You know, throughout this journey, God knows and sees exactly where we are at. Now the devil will constantly try to "worm" his way into our life but we need to (James 4:7) just resist the devil and he will flee from us. During this time of journey we are on, God has given us an abundant supply of promises in His Word.We were chosen by him, He loves us. We are precious in His Sight. And if we remain faithful to Him in our time of testing, He will keep us from harm. Our speech needs to be uplifting and not complaining and murmurings. Keep lifting up Jesus. He is preparing us for a work that He has planned for us, by putting us through the desert of testing, where the heat must be applied to our life, to see waht is in our hearts. We can then be a witness for Him and be able to share and help someone else. God is so good.
