10. Turn Gwen's tips (about cutting food in half, not using a straw, using a fork, etc) into new diet laws.
9. When someone is successful, be sure you ask them what they did, and try to copy them rather than seek God's individual guidance especially for you.
8. If you stop losing weight, start thinking about ways (fasting, eating less food even when still hungry, cutting "just a little" fat, etc) YOU can help weight loss along, rather than waiting on God's perfect timing.
7. If you have a setback, instead of looking towards the goal of serving Christ Jesus and the freedom that is yours in Christ, just keep focused on your so-called failure and don't call upon God to help you pick yourself back up and keep on towards your goal of a closer walk with Him.
6. Keep remembering all your past failures, rather than renewing your mind with God's Word and God's truths and promises.
5. Devote all your thinking to when you will feel hunger again and all you can eat when you are hungry rather than devoting you thinking to God and His attributes and His praiseworthyness and His awesomeness!
4.When you overeat or when things do not go as you planned, start having a pity party, rather than repenting, forgetting and continue you focus on God.
3. Let times of eating beyond full,or even bingeing cause despair, call all your friends, stay focused on it, talk about what you ate. That way,you will never forget - you might even get to go back to Egypt.
2. If you have a question or problem, be sure to go to the weighdown encouragement board first, before going to the Lord. That way you can become even more confused with the several different answers you receive. Seek the advice of men, rather than God. Than way your desert journey can be longer.
1. Finally, base you success on pounds lost rather than other important issues God might be dealing with you on. If you have not lost weight, just talk about how this is not working for you. Forget that your love for God is growing stronger each day, allow you lack of weight loss to cloud the joy you have in Christ. Allow your desire for thinness to be more important than your desire for God.
