        ~ Statement of Faith ~

        The Schroeder Family Beleives:

        That the Bible in the inspired and infallible Word of God.

        That the Bible is without error.

        That the Bible is complete.

        That God has existed for all eternity, one God, in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

        That Jesus came in the flesh, fully God, and fully human, yet without sin.

        That all men are in violation of God's righteous requirements in nature and in deed, and cannot achieve salvation through any act of their own.

        That Jesus came in the flesh to pay the penalty for our sin through His substitutionary death on the cross, and His subsequent resurrection.

        That salvation is a free gift.

        That this gift must be received willingly by each person as an individual, by faith, and not by works.

        That salvation can not be attained through good works, or simply by being "born into a family who is saved", but only by receiving Jesus Christ as Savior personally, through faith, and becoming "born again".

        In baptism by immersion as an act of obedience and a public declaration of faith.
