I WILL FLY!

It just wasn't easy until the Lord showed me that HE IS ABLE, then I came to believe that I Can Fly!

The desert is a testing place,
And I've used food to fill the space.
"Chew on God's Word," Gwen says to me,
"His truth and life will set you free."
Slowly, I die to sin and lust.
God's perfect will of righteousness
Is filling places in my soul.
Now I can see myself made whole!
I can believe His way is right,
And I have turned---humbled, contrite.
My heart is changed, my mind renewed.
My life is His, not mine, to use.
I make mistakes, stumble and fall.
God picks me up, forgiving all.
Assurance comes through fervent prayer.
The Promised Land---I'll soon be there!
