"Newspaper headline: Americans, for the 70th time in a row, once again pretend to know the words to Auld Ayng Syne"
Yes, it's that time of year again: the end of it! Huraah! No more 2002!
The main reason I haven't updated in about 3 weeks is because of Christmas. I didn't feel like taking time away from my video games to write, so I didn't. For all of you out there who're a little curious about my life, I'll tell you a few things I've received for Christmas. My boss sent me three video games (Onimusha 2, Shinobi, LOTR 2) and the book Gilgamesh. I also received the GBA game Metroid Fusion. Among other things, I got a book of the Onion (a funny news-paper site -- www.theonion.com), and a black light thingy. And then.....A new car stereo! Yaay! Now all of my speakers will work! Booya! I also got a few Magic cards and a bunch of money (which I used to buy more Magic cards with). All in all, a very prosperous Christmas indeed.
Last week I saw LOTR 2: The Two Towers. I must say, I'm quite impressed. I thought it was just as good, if not better than the first one. The battle scenes were well-recreated, and the little bit of added humor was quite...humorous. They did add a few parts to the movie that I don't recall being in the book, but no matter. It is just based off of the book, after all. They are entitled to some artistic or dramatic licenses. A great movie, I'd say, and definitely one worth seeing more than once.

"Only 9 more days!"
That's right, only 9 more days until Christmas! Bwaaah! More importantly, however, only 2 more days until The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers arrives in theaters! Yaay! Go see it, everyone!

"Back from the dead and up to no good!"
That's right! My hiatus is over, and although it probably didn't make any difference to you, updates are to be had! I'll be uploading two new pictures pretty soon, as well. By soon I mean tonight, of course... (maybe.)
Anyway, Thanksgiving is over and done with, so now it's time to see how much stuff I can leech out of my family for Christmas! And what better to celebrate the Christmas holiday with than bone-chilling cold? Nothing, that's what I say. If I'm not riddled with frostbite by the time I walk from my car to the school, it's not cold enough!

"A couple of problems..."
I have just recently found out that I am unable to upload C++ files onto Geocities. While not a huge problem, it is a bit annoying. So, to fix the problem, I'll either have to upload all my C++ files in .zip folders or as .txt files. Either way, it'll be a bit before I can upload them. Not like you care anyway.
Oh yeah, and I just realized that I've neglected to put my AIM screenname up for any of you who care enough to try it out. It's "HEchrono". I'm not on constantly, but I do pop in now and then when I'm not at my dad's house.
UPDATE!
The Programs section is up, and accessable through the main menu bar. However, due to a slight mix up, the email button is broken. Since it takes a bit of time to fix this, I may opt to wait a while before getting it done. My email address is emperorsven@hotmail.com, in case you need it.

"New car idea:"
Jim and I came up with a great new idea for a car today while I was driving him home from school. First of all, it's just a motor with a seat tied on to the top of it. As for wheels, simple gears will be used. They will, of course, dig into the ground to allow the car a certain level of shambly-ness. The seat will be stabilized under no conditions, and more than likely, you'll fall face flat into the concrete in front of you. The car will continue on its' way, running over you, of course, and dragging you behind it via the rope you've tied to it and yourself. The car will continue to shamble around, regardless of whether you're concious or not. How do you stop it? you ask? You don't! That's the best part! It only stops when it runs out of gas! The same holds true for starting the car: it starts immediately when you put gas into it! Good stuff, huh?
Oh, and I've been thinking about putting a lawnmower upside-down (blades facing up) in the passenger seat of my car. Not only that, but a tank full of mice and other rodents. Finally, I'll set up an alarm clock dealy that rings every 15 or 20 minutes (only when other people are in the car). When the alarm goes off, I'll take a rodent out of the tank saying "Well, it's time to feed the lawnmower!" and proceed to drop the rodent in the spinning blades of the mower.

"OOOOOIIIILLLL!"
Again, as I so often do, I must apologize for the lack of updates in recent history. I've been a bit busy with school, you see. And by 'I've been a bit busy with school' I mean 'I should have been doing schoolwork.'
Well, you can bet that schoolwork hasn't been the only thing I've been doing, as I have begun to think up new innovations for my site. One of these days, I'll get working on them.
On the subject of things nearer to the present, I'm going to put up a page with all of my C, Java, and C++ programs on it, for all of you who want them. I wouldn't know why, since I could care less. It should be up pretty soon.

"Sekiha Tenkyouken!"
I don't really have much to write right now. I just feel like writing here instead of what I'm supposed to be doing now, writing my programs like a good little programmer. But Byerly's not here now, so screw that! You may have noticed the Pic of the Day dealy below the linkbar. It's pretty nifty, but it's technically not a pic of the day, so much as it's a pic of the refresh. Oh well, can't win em all. Or can you? ...No. You can't.

"German is such a craaaaazy language!"
I took the liberty of checking this site out in German via altavista's translator. Much fun was had, I must say. I don't have any of the stuff I've copied offhand as I am at school right now, but I would suggest taking a look at it yourself. First, go to world.altavista.com, then typing in "http://www.oocities.org/hechrono" in the web address box, then selecting "English to German" from the dropdown. After it translates it, copy the text into another translator window and select "German to English" for some good times!

"Renovations yet again..."
As you may have noticed, I tweaked the site a bit. Some pages are gone, now, and the link toolbar on the side is different. The email button actually works now, as the last one was a bit outdated in the email address department. Overall, the site's still the same old site you've all grown to love so very, very much. And no, it's not bad if you feel sexually attracted to my site.

"My new car just happens to be the greatest car on the face of the planet!"
That's right! My new '95 Plymouth Neon is the greatest used car on the planet! Even thought it's got about 112,000 miles on it, the radio sucks, there's no cd player, and it has power nothing...
On to other topics: Magic! The card game, not the skill, or whatever you'd call it. I've begun it anew, and boy is it grand! I recommend, no, demand, that everyone who reads this go out and start playing it. NOW!
And finally, "NEW" EPISODES OF DRAGONBALL Z! Yeah, buddy! Complete with Fusion Dances, SSJ4, and Vegitto! Woohoo! (massive cheers)

"The contest is OVAH!"
That's right, my computer is NO LONGER the offline wonder! My new modem has fixed all of my problems so far, and I'm online just like I used to be! The winner of the contest was Jim, and as his prize, he received the lyrics to 'Mr. Roboto.' Congratulations to our winner!

"Super men, or vegetables?"
I learned quite a bit of interesting info on DragonBall Z recently. You want to hear it? ...No? Too bad! Mwa ha!
Well, let's start! For starters, let's examine the Saiyans themselves. In Japan, they're called the Saiya-jins, or Saiya-people. ('jin' is used to indicate a race of people.) The word 'Saiya' is just a mixed up spelling of the word 'Yasai', which in Japanese means 'vegetable.' So the Saiyans are actually the 'Veggie-people.' Now, Gokuu's real name, Kakkarot, is Japanese for Carrot. and Vegeta's name is just a shortened form of Vegetable. See? Gokuu's son is named Gohan, which in Japanese means 'Morning rice' or something. So basically, DragonBall Z is just one big veggie reference. Nifty, eh?

"Blue Lightning...Faster than...well...Lightning!"
Sunday was my birthday! I'm now 17 years old, and am legally able to see rated R movies! Ha ha ha ha ha ha!!! Alright, so it's not THAT exciting. I got a new TV to replace my old one (Also known as Statics McGee) and a new chair, which I have aptly dubbed 'Blue Lightning' (due to it's color and speed) to replace my old soot-shooting squeaky chair with no padding (also known as Ol' Blackie). The best part about Blue Lightning is that it was made in one of the greatest countries of all time! That's right, it was made in....(drum roll) CANADA! In the spirit of giving things names, I dubbed my computer 'The Offline Wonder.' It still won't get online, even after reformatting it, giving me the notion that it's probably not a virus, but rather the modem....

"NEW PICTURES FOR EVERYBODY!!!!!!!!!"
That's right! A bunch of new pictures have been posted! A few new computer ones, and even some hand-drawn scanned-in pictures! Also some combination artists and solo artists other than myself. Enjoy!

"When's my modem gonna be fixed???"
I'm now starting a new contest with winners picked every week! If you can guess the exact date I'll get my modem fixed, you win a fabulous prize! Just email me your guess at emperorsven@hotmail.com and if you're right, I'll email a notification of your prize and whatnot. Good luck!

Damascus Memorial
June 28, 2002
"Requiem for the Greatest Parakeet, no, Bird, Ever...period. Ever."
That's right. The most wonderful bird ever to exist has passed away. Damascus died some time around this date (I can't remember the exact date). I buried him outside of my dad's place, so any of you who know where that is and aren't burglars or anything can go and pay homage to the parakeet we all knew and loved.
Damascus' back
Damascus on my shoulder
Damascus sideways on my shoulder
Much like myself, Damascus has an evil twin owned by Gustave named Kelvin (Gustave's middle name). Here are some pictures of him.

"School's Out...It's about time!"
Well, school's out, and to kick it off, I get to spend the first 4 days home alone! Weee!
I made a nifty DBZ All Your Base video, and if it weren't for the fact that the best version is 10 megabytes, I'd upload it. Oh well, can't win em all.

"..."
Sorry for the lack of updates in the past few weeks. The virus on my computer doesn't like me to be able to access my modem. Once I get it fixed, count on good times aplenty! This update is pretty much just to make sure to Geocities doesn't shut down my site or anything.
Oh, and I added a new link to the link page: Despair.com. It's chock full of demotivational pictures. Enjoy!

"Don't you just love MIDIs?"
Obviously, I haven't updated the site in a while. The reason for that is the "rogue feature" as I like to call it on my computer. It somehow prevents my modem from detecting a dial tone, so I haven't been able to connect to the internet lately. I'm writing this from my dad's house, while my computer is at my mom's place.
I think I'm going to start uploading all my midis in a while and let you guys download them or something. First I have to get a little more organized, though, and then get rid of the rouge feature on my PC...

"Don't worry, there are enough for everyone!"
I have successfully CRUSHED Ryan's high scores...and no, the PICTURE wasn't doctored...the scores themselves, on the other hand...
I also made two pictures that my faithful viewers can put on their websites, should they have them. Note that I am not suggesting that. It is now mandatory. If you have a website and are viewing this page, you absolutely MUST put one of my link pictures on your site and cite mine. DO IT!
April 24, 2002
"Yu Yu Hakusho is a great show!"
Ryan beat my high score! AAAAHHHHH!
Lately, Jon Stratton has been putting bond angles in radians
instead of degrees for Mrs. Eiseman. Mwa ha ha! That'll teach her! Take that, Eiseman! Well done, Jon.

"Taxes?"
Once again, that time of the year has rolled around...the time where all children of all ages (between 5 and 16) can gather around the table and watch their parent yell, scream, rant, and rave about their taxes. And once again, I have earned too little of an amount to "be able to" pay them. Mwa ha ha!
Oh yeah, I put up all of the Weiselisms that Ron had collected thus far. I put them on the top of the quotes page. Go there now!

"What did we DO!?!"
Boy, I've been pretty out of it for the last week. Work was getting a little out of hand. Oh, well. I'm back now. I think. Do you know what's a great song? Particle Man. That's right.

"If you haven't eaten human brains before, you haven't lived!"
I just wrote a new Editorial, by the Skeleton Knight. Go there now! Oh, and I'm in the process of programming a battle system in C. When I finish, perhaps I'll post it.

"Oh the pain! The pain of it all!"
If you haven't already, go to the User Pics page! It's chock full of picture goodness! Don't forget to send in your own pictures. Do it!
"The New Format"
March 13, 2002
You may be wondering where the news is...just check the link bar or drop down menu! Yaay! I've put up some pictures as well...in the User Pics link. I'll put the newest news here still, but after that, it goes to the News page. Email me some pictures and maybe I'll put them in the pictures page.

"Contributors Abound!"
Finally, another update!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I added a marquee site with a Castlevania SotN weapons marquee. It also has some sort of text-to-speech editor. Also, Michelle set up a tribute page. Both can be found in this text. The Marquee     The Chris Tribute
Enjoy!

"UUUUUUUAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!"
February 19, 2002
"Nobody knows...the troubles I've seen... Well, maybe somebody has, I don't know."
I tell you, the human mind is a terrible thing to waste. But then again, it's a terrible thing to use, as well. The bored mind thinks up of all sorts of weird things. Like just now, I thought that I had three little kids in my room playing my Playstation. It was odd. Oh wait, it's really happening!!! The neighbors are invading!!! Little kids are funny. It's really nifty how much better at video games I am than they are. Ha ha ha ha!!! Take that, young ones!

"Dracula is a freakin' wimp!"
Ah, memories...I've been playing good ol' Castlevania: Symphony of the Night again today...nifty game. Pretty easy to beat after about 15 times of doing it before, though. Still pretty nifty, I think.
Not really news, but I should put this up
anyway...
"What is this crap?" you may ask. Well, it's exactly that. Crap.
I'm doing this because I'm completely bored out of my mind. I'll be putting
some stuff that I think is funny on here (mostly said at school or something)
to brighten up you day...maybe. Hey! You may not think it's funny, but I sure
do! That's why I'm putting it up here...that and I have nothing better to do.
You may not like the sick, twisted humor of the "Physics Gang," but it has
sure provided me with hours of entertainment during an otherwise boring school
day.
