End of Life Choices Delaware Valley Chapter - Who We Are

"Those who wish to reap the blessings of Freedom
must undergo the fatigue of supporting it"--Thomas Paine

We are a local chapter of End of Life Choices Founded in 1980 by Derek Humphry, the Hemlock Society is the oldest and largest right-to-die organization in the U.S. Hemlock has more than 27,000 members in chapters across the country, End of Life Choices is a not-for-profit organization chartered as a 501 (c) (4) corporation. The End of Life Choices Foundation funds the educational and charitable parts of the End of Life Choices operation. It is a 501 (c) (3) corporation.

End of Life Choices believes that people who wish to retain their dignity and choice at the end of life should have the option of a peaceful, gentle, certain and swift death in the company of their loved ones. The means to accomplish this is with legally prescribed medication as part of the continuum of care between a patient and a doctor.
