Celly Cel - The G Filez
Reviewed By: Blutarski
- A great first song to start this sicc ass album. The beat is good, the background
affects sound good and both E-40 and Celly Cel have some tight ass flows. The lyrics
center around why both rappers have to live the gangsta life.
- Another good beat and background affects. All's both Celly and Silkk The Shocker to
is FLOW! Puttin' it down for everyone on this track, fuck everyone who isn't down
with them.
- Celly's first solo track on the album. The beat and background affects are blended
together perfectly. The production on this album is great, from a number of different
producers. Lyrics center around weekend activities. You know what they are.
- The title track isn't the best, but it still has its good points. The beat is good,
the affects let down, but the flows are consistent. Celly Cel has to be one of the
best rappers in the game fo sho. I like the hook to this track.
- The hook is really good, but I'm not really into this track. There are lots of guest
appearances on this track, many of them good, but I'm just not feelin' it. The beat
is decent, but not the best.
- The first really slow track on the album. It's done really good for both the beat
and the background instruments. Keak Da Sneak comes sicc here, along with Celly Cel
and Young Mugzi. One of my favorite tracks.
- Flowin' about something everything hates: gettin' a job. The beat is good and the
affects come sicc. Another good track.
- This track is a diss on Brotha Lynch Hung. Both Celly and C-Bo come with some sicc
shit. The beat and background affects are nothing special, but the lyrics are the
sicc part. Won't tell much, got to listen to it yourself.
- This is one of the weaker tracks on the album. The beat isn't really good, the
background affects are ok and the hook isn't very good. I usually skip this one.
- Another track that can get you moving. The hook is pretty sicc on this track. The
beat is slower paced, but is tight. Good track all the way around.
- With a hard bass line and good background instruments this is one of Celly's best
solo tracks on the album. Lyrics are just what the song is titled, gettin' it
crackin'.
- The best song by Celly Cel of all time! None of his tracks on any of his current
CDs are better than this I think. Plenty of great talent on this track. Flowin'
about side shows and rappin' to a sicc ass beat, nothin' can beat it. Can't say
enough about this one. If you've never heard it RUN out and buy this CD and listen
to it.
- Another good solo track. The hook is catchy and the lyrics center around god and life
in general. The beat has a fast pace to it and the instruments sound good.
- I love this track too. Very catchy hook and the beat and lyrics just make me get up
and get down. Gets my head moving every time. Another great one here.
- The lyrics talk about not knowing if today is going to be your last day on earth.
Exactly how the track is titled: you never know. A good point to another good solo.
- Not a very good track to me. I don't really like either of the guests and the beat isn't
very good. I usually pass this one every time.
- The last solo track on the album. Celly flows about the Bay Area. I love the
background affects on this track. A good last solo track to put on the album.
- Celly Cel and E-40 end the album with a decent track, but still a good ending to a
great album. The track has an ok beat and a nice hook.
Overall this CD is so hot, sicc, tight, however you describe it, that if you don't
have it you need to buy it immeadiatly. Hit the buy it link and buy it. Don't waste
any time. It is by far the siccest album that Celly Cel's put out,, and one of the
siccest albums of all time from anyone. GET IT!!!!
