Celly Cel Presents - Live From the Ghetto
Reviewed By: Blutarski
- B-Legit gets this comp started right with a coo track. The beat has a nice pace to
it and the hook is pretty coo. B-Legit has some nice flows, nothing really sicc,
but still a decent little flow. A good track to start the album off with. Overall a
good track.
- A good beat, with some nice instruments in the background. Gets your head moving to
the beat. I'm not feeling the hook at that much, but the flows are pretty good. A
track with a sicc beat and some coo flows. Good track overall.
- A Marvaless solo track. She has a coo voice and is the best female rapper if you ask
me. The beat is nothing special, but has a good pace to it. The hook is coo. She
has some good lyrics and a good flow. Good track overall.
- Everything is cathy on this track. A catchy beat, hook, flow, and background affects.
Can't really say anything more about this track, it's just a catchy track that
should be listened to.
- The beat is ok, but the flow and the voices are plain terrible! The quality of the
voices are very poor and they don't have very good flows in the first place. A waste
of a track is you ask me. Skip it!
- Some good flows, but their voices aren't that good. The beat is ok, the background
affects have a woman moaning. The third verse of the track has someone who is trying
to sound like C-Bo, but does a poor job. Just biting off Bo's style and the way his
voice sounds. Not a very good track.
- The first track Celly Cel appears on. He starts off with a little verse introducing
the Hillside Straglaz. The beat is coo and the background affects fit in well. Celly
Cel has some flows. The Stranglaz come in on the second track and they have some nice
flows too. The third verse is coo too. A good track all over. Good flows by
everyone.
- I love this track. The hook gets you into it. The beat fits in well and the background
affects are perfect. This track gets your head moving. Ghetto Mafia has some strait
flows. Bump this shit loud cause this track is tight as fuck!!
- A good beat to this one. The background are sicc too. Not everyone has a good verse on
this track, but the good ones outweigh the bad ones. I like this track for the hook
too. A decent track overall.
- Even if Richie Rich didn't have a verse you can tell it's him because of the beat.
The Rich style is all over this one. He starts the track off with a good verse.
Another track that gets your head moving. A good track overall.
- A MC Eiht solo. The beat is sicc and so are the affects. The hook isn't great, but
it has some good lyrics to it. Eiht has a good flow and he spits some coo lyrics.
A good track overall.
- Don Juan starts it off with a sicc verse. Another track that gets your head moving.
Tech N9ne has the next verse and spits some of his great lyrics. I'm not really
feeling the hook, but that's the only part of the track I'm not feeling. Besides the
hook this track is sicc!
- This track is weak as fuck!! The beat is terrible, the background affects don't fit
and both these rappers are wacc! WTF was Celly thinking on this one? Skip this piece
of shit track.
- Finally a solo Celly track. I think this would have been better as the last track,
but it's coo where it is. He has some good flows to a decent beat and background
affects. I thought it could have been a little better, but compared to the last track
this is about 10000000000000000 times better.
- I've heard this track on a few comps now. It's a good track and all, but I'm just
tired of it. Luni starts it off with a good verse. Skee 64 has a decent verse and Mad
Dog comes with some decent shit. An ok track overall.
- The title track is by Riderlife. It has good beat, one's that very catchy, gets your
head moving. The flow of the verses goes really good with the beat. I'm loving this
track. Some good lyrics and flows to go along with a good beat. One of the best
tracks overall.
- A Felonly One solo. The background affects come first then the beat kicks in and
Felony One starts to flow. This track gets your head moving. A good track overall.
Nothing special, but good all around.
- A sicc track to end the album with. Cool Nutz has some flows. The beat is sicc and the
background affects fit in perfectly. This track is great.
Overall this album has some good tracks to it, but the ones that aren't good should
have been cut out. Instead of 18 tracks this could have been cut down to about 15 or
14. There are still some good tracks on here. A decent album overall, not even close
to one of the best comps though.
