Spice 1 - Spiceberg Slim
Reviewed By: Blutarski

  1. Oh yeah!!! This track gets the album started off right with a bangin track. The beat is sicc and Spice 1 comes hard on the mic. He spits some tight lyrics. The production is tight and I'm feeling all the instruments and background effects. It's a tight track from start to finish.

  2. One of Spice's classic tracks "Welcome to the Ghetto." This is the continuation to that track. The beat is good and it has great production. The pace of the track is slower, but I'm feeling it. Spice comes with some tight lyrics. He flows all about the ghetto. It's a clean track overall.

  3. The computer effects on this track is sicc as fuck! I'm feeling this track to the fullest. The beat is hard and the production is perfect. Spice 1 comes with some nice lyrics on the mic too. The hook is the best part because of the computer effects, but this whole track is knoccin hard. I'm feeling it to the fullest.

  4. The beat is hard and the productino is clean. Spice 1 has some nice vocals on this track. He flows about how it's nothing for a boss like him. The pace of the track fits perfectly with the beat and production. He repeats his lyrics a bit too much to me. It's still a clean track overall.

  5. I've heard tracks like this too many times. "Thuggin makes the world go round and round." The concept isn't very original and that's what takes away to me. Even though it's an old topic all three rappers come tight on this one. Spice and Tray have good verses and Kokane has some nice vocals on the hook. A decent track overall.

  6. This track has a sweet pace to it. It's fast paced and Spice 1 comes hard on the mic. The beat is hard and the production is clean. I like Spice's style on this track, it's more like his older albums. I'm feeling this track overall.

  7. Spice flows about how he can feel the heat of hell creeping up on him. The beat doesn't have that gangsta feel to it, but I like it. The production is good and gives a perfect feel for Spice's flow. The Outlawz come hard too. It's a good track from start to finish, a lot of heart on it.

  8. I like the flow by Spice 1, but the beat, production and the little kids singing in the background have to go. Spade's flow is tight as fuck too, but again the beat is terrible. Would have been better if it would have had a better beat.

  9. I really wasn't feeling the beat to this track at first, but it's sort of grown on me. This is track for all the people Spice 1 rolls with. It's a good track, but I really wasn't feeling it at first, give it a second chance.

  10. Jay-O and Spice came hard on the "Criminalz" album and this track is no different. Both rip up the mic with their hard lyrics. The beat is hard too. I don't like the singing on the hook though. Take out the hook and this is a hard track from two great rappers.

  11. This one is all about the ladies. I'm not really feeling much about this track. Spice doesn't have the best of flows on this one, the hook is weak and the beat and production aren't all that. It's a pretty funny track though, how they rap about "azz hole naked."

  12. Spice hints at that reggea style, but never really flows with that style. Rappin 4-Tay has a decent flow, but he doesn't come all that tight to me. Spice 1 should have spit in that reggea style. I'm not feeling this track at all.

  13. The beat gets your head moving on this track. Spice 1 rips up the mic to finish off this album. He flows all about the pistols, power and paper. It's a good track to end the album with.

Overall this is a solid album, but not nearly as good as some old school Spice 1 shit. The beats were inconsistent throughout the album, but some were straight knoccers. The first half of the album was much better to me. The other bad thing is that some of these tracks were used on "Playa Rich Project II." It's a decent album overall, but I would say it's best for Spice 1 fans only. I know I'm feeling it, but I'm a big Spice 1 fan myself.
