Puppy Update ~ Week 3 Continued

Here's cute Mani (short for Manitoba) up from a nap. Her nose is still longer than all the others, and she's still just as adorable. Mani and Alaska were both named for regions where polar bears roam. Both looked like polar bear babies after birth, and were some of the largest puppies. Eden and I are not sure if Mani or Alaska was the first or 3rd born. Russia was born second.

Here's a rare, clear photo of Russia. He's so dark, it's hard to capture him nicely on film. However, he's quite a charachter, and will surely catch someone's eye. I'll never forget that Russia was the true male of the pack right after birth. He made such loud doggie noises, much louder than the others. Today, he is feisty and full of energy. He likes to tumble and play, and will often be tumbling around with Chile.

Here, Russia and Chile were playing, but Russia stopped to investigate the paper, me and the camera.

Chile up close. She's such a cutie, and does enjoy a good tumble. She'll wake the whole house up with her growl! It's so funny.

Here, Chiles up from a nap. We pronounce her name Chee lay. You can see her little nose is starting to grow. Little Sydney is in the front.

Alaska wears a purple string, and is a sleepy male. Probably the firstborn, he was one of the biggest puppies for a while. The others have caught up, but he's still tubby, and has such cute eyes! Here, he was investigating the puppy rope I gave them. They've been playing with it, and I've caught them pulling it between each other.

Here Alaska is playing, but I'm not sure who is on the bottom. I think it may be Norway, but her string is hidden under her hair.
