swimming. The 4 basic strokes are learned along with
starts and turns. Swimmers develop the basic fitness to

Swimmers in this group
improve upon their knowledge of the competitive strokes with more
advanced technique and drills. The aim of the Cat 4 group is to
develop technical mastery in all of the competitive events. |

comprise most of the Hickam State and Zone Team. This group's emphasis
is on training, competition, and the advanced academics of the sport
(training principals, diet, advanced swimmer-specific mechanics,
etc.). |
