This photo was taken at Butterfly Spring at Kunming, the first destination of my trip. During March, the spring which contains a special minerals that attracts over thousands of butterflies to gather on the trees next to the spring. It is also a time when lovers would go and wishes good luck with their love ones, or singles who go and search for partners. The butterfly museum was one of the most amazing features of this park. It has a lot of different species butterflies on display. Some of the art work were made out of colorful patterns of the butterfly wings. I personally found it a bit disturbing, but if you did not know what it was made of it looks really nice.
This is a photo at Dali. It is famous for their stone, Da Li stone. The natural pattern on the stones are very often being seen as natural drawings of the nature.
Behind is the snowy dragon mountain. The snow at the top of the mountain never melt and the snow that melted from the bottom of the mountain flows down to this river where the water is very cold and refreshing :) I nearly wanted to drink it, but you never know what people would do at the upper river. But the tour guide said the water can wash away your bad luck though. There was a story saying the olden times, if a girl wants to test this guy's love, she will ask him to stand in this spring water for three minutes. If he can, then he truly loves her. It isn't that cold, but I wouldn't want to do that during winter though ^_^. This is a MUST, because the nature formation of the stones level behind me were just so beautiful!
