Kevin came to Hot Springs yesterday and Rudy, a friend from Warren Wilson, visited in the afternoon. They're so great. Kevin and I had Easter Breakfast at Mountain Magnolias. It's a bed and breakfast in an amazing Victorian house almost 150 years old. Huge hammocks and gardens adorn the green lawn. There was the biggest sweet magnolia tree I've ever seen and a fairytale walnut tree with branches that grow first to the ground and then back up. As it turns out, it's Dana Nagle's family that owns it. Dana went to school at WWC as well. So the savory buffet with omelets to order and a bird carved from watermelon was free, as was the view of the trains passing through the rolling mountains.

Dale visited this morning. He's always an inspiration or inspirator or en-spirit-or. We talked about how obvious ideas and solutions aren't always the best ones. We talked about a development from dependent to independent to interdependent.
