Pine Grove Furnace marks the half-way point. I ate my half gallon of Moose Tracks ice cream in 1.25 hours. It only hurt a little. I'm celebrating by taking two days off with the gang from Potomac Outdoors. Tomorrow night is supposed to be great meteor showers too.

I saw Two-o-four's aura tonight. Hmm... He made me stove from soda cans. I started by asking for guidance and ended by keeping him company. I'm mailing a package for him so it seems a good trade. Though we'd both have done it anyway. We've noticed that squirrels sound like they have huge feet around here, and chipmunks are everywhere.

I have come to feel the ground beneath my boots. Pine needles and mosses are like walking barefoot after gravel and stone paths. So far, PA has been flat. I wonder when the running point will be.

Humid lowlands filled with mountain laurel, smell like a shampoo factory and make me sympathize with allergy-stricken souls.
